Curbside garbage collection
The Township of North Stormont's waste collection contractor, Environmental 360 Solutions, provides weekly waste collection services to the residents of North Stormont. For inquiries or to report a missed collection, please contact E360S at 613-936-6072.
- Residents may place a maximum of two garbage bags per week for collection, with a maximum weight of 22kg each
- If you need to dispose of additional garbage outside of your regular limit, a tag must be purchased from the Township for each additional garbage bag. Additional Garbage Bag Tags can be purchased for $3 each. They can also be purchased at:

- Exact collection times may change. Please place all items at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your garbage collection day.
- Only regular household garbage will be accepted. No large item pick up is available for curbside pickup.
- Litter that is created as a result of crows or small animals ripping garbage bags open is the responsibility of the owner to clean up.

- The facility is open Monday – Friday 7am – 5pm, and Saturdays 8am – 2pm. Closed Sundays and on all statutory holidays.

Dump Pass
Each property owner of the Township of North Stormont is entitled to one Waste Certificate (Dump Pass) per calendar year, which entitles them to one free tipping of up to 500 kg of waste at the GFL Moose Creek Landfill, located at 17125 Lafleche Road, Moose Creek. Dump passes will be mailed out to residents with the final tax bills in July. Passes are valid from July 1st of the year they are mailed out, to the following June 31. If you did not receive your dump pass, one can be picked up at the Township office, or mailed on request.
- The Township does not pay for tires or the removal of Freon.
- The one free tipping only applies to dumps under 500 kg.
- Anyone exceeding the 500 kg limit will pay the excess at the time of use, directly to GFL Environmental Inc.
- Residents can go to the landfill as many times as they like, but after the use of their one free Dump Pass, applicable tipping fees will be charged.
Curbside recycling collection
As of Jan. 1, 2025, the Township of North Stormont is no longer responsible for recycling collection. The recycling program is now overseen by Circular Materials, a national not-for-profit organization committed to building an efficient and effective recycling system in Ontario.
Please place all items at the curb by 7 a.m. on your recycling collection day. Collection hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Please wait until after 7 p.m. to report a missed collection.
